Trivia Challenge
VPs if You Please
This is the latest in ATPM’s series of Trivia Challenges. Answers to this month’s Trivia Challenge will be found in the next issue of ATPM. If you have any suggestions for future Trivia Challenges, or would like to contribute a Trivia Challenge, please e-mail me at egoss@atpm.com.
I’d like to congratulate last month’s Trivia Challenge winners: Iowan Toni Graham and Shane Liesegang from Virginia. This month’s prize of a dynamite ATPM T-shirt goes to the first two correct entries I receive at egoss@atpm.com. Individual readers are eligible to win only once every twelve months.
This month’s Trivia Challenge is timed to coincide with America’s presidential election, which should be news about the time you read this. On the left is a list of former US Vice Presidents who went on to become Presidents themselves. On the right are the Presidents under whom they served. So vote for your favorite on November 7; then match up the Presidents and VPs as you take part in:

Each question has only one correct answer. The answers are stored in a hermetically sealed envelope guarded by a trusty cat named “Donald” who lives in our house.
This Month’s CD Recommendation
Sailing To Philadelphia by Mark Knopfler. Another fine batch of tunes from former Dire Straits’ front man Knopfler. Featuring duets with James Taylor, Van Morrison, and Difford & Tilbrook (Squeeze), along with stellar playing from Guitar Guru Knopfler and his talented band of friends make this a wonderfully pleasant album. Meticulously recorded in HDCD for those who have an HDCD player, “Sailing To Philadelphia” will also sound great on any conventional CD system. A must for Dire Straits and Knopfler fans, it might even convert a few of those who haven’t heard this talented Brit yet.
