Can't you show a whole picture of BC?
Lee Bennett (ATPM Staff) · July 18, 2001 - 23:17 EST #2
I'm afraid I don't understand exactly what you mean. I could interpret this question two ways. (1) literally—and to do that would probably require space flight to show a picture of the entire province. (2) philosophically—in other words, a more telling representation of the province. Unfortunately, I was only there for two days with a very specific itinerary. Perhaps these two web sites would be of help: victoriabc.com and visit-vancouverisland.com. Maybe my other (unused for desktop photos) pictures would also help. They're near the 1999 trip in my photo album.

Ahhh! I LOVE Victoria!!! (And Sooke, 30 minutes out of Victoria.) It is one of my favourite places that I've ever visited. I live in Alberta and I only just went to Victoria this summer. I can't believe I hadn't gone sooner!! Actually, I think I went once when I was like 3 with my parents but I totally don't remember it (I'm 20 now). It's so wonderful though. I am going again next spring. Thanks for sharing your photos. :o) ~Monica

These are great pictures of B.C., but you could use some of the natural part of B.C. like the Rockies.

Julia - you're absolutely right. Alas, I never made it to that part of the province. Do you have any photos of that region that you'd like to submit?

My best friend lives in Alberta and I hope to take a trip to Banff with her one day. While not B.C., I imagine it's similar terrain and very photogenic. If I ever make it there, you can be certain I'll have my camera with me.

Hi,
My name is Glenda Lightbourne and I find your pictures of Butchart Gardens very nice to look at. It brought back many memories of my visit to Victoria in September of 1989. My first impression was, "God must live here, it is so beautiful." During the course of my first day in Victoria, I was asked by no less than persons if I plan to visit the Gardens. At that point, I decided it was a 'must see.' I did and have been longing to return ever since. As God is my witness, I will visit Butchart Gardens again. Thanks for the floral reminder. Sincerely, Glenda Lightbourne.

I'm from Victoria, and I'm very glad to see that you captured some pictures which represent most fully a Victorian experience. For all who intend to visit make the parliament, empress hotel, and inner harbour paramount sights to see. Don't forget that Butcharts is not the only must-do in Victoria, buy a local a beer and ask for the nearest secluded beach where you can enjoy a picnic on the west-coast.
