Do you have any advice on how to resize scanned pictures? Also, how do you make an image into a thumbnail? I love your website. I will refer my friends to it. Thanks. G

G - no special advice other than to use a decent graphic editing program (such as GraphicConverter or, if you have access to it or can afford to own it, Photoshop), select the option to resize an image, and tell how big you want it. Note that even though you can resize an image larger than its original size, you should try to avoid this, as it will degrade the picture. This applies to making thumbnails. Just resize down to a tiny size you want for your thumbnails, such as 50-75 pixels wide. Since the entire purpose of thumbnails is to give a quick idea of what a group of pictures are, I usually set the JPEG quality down real low so it compresses well.

I've always wanted to go to Hawaii, and I'm in Ohio. I'ts cold, and snowy here. So in the winter I like to look at pictures of the nice places. I thank you for puting these pictures on here, so we Ohioans have a chance to at least see what it would be like to be there!!!!

I've always wanted to go to HawaiI! I'm in New York which is very far from Hawaii, it is cold , hot . and sometimes both and these pictures just make feel that I'm already there. All I wantted to say was thank you for posting the pictures.
