My mom was born raised in and retired to St. Lucia. I, myself, have been there many times. I wish it could be an export island again instead of tourist attraction, but it will always be beautiful and I can't wait to go back. I love ALL St. Lucians.
my dad was born in St.Lucia, and lived there until the age of 5. I have never been there myself but i would absolutley love to! I would love to visit Ti Kaye village and the Castries which is where my fathers from. I havent been there yet but i am only 13 so there will be plenty more oppurtunitys! The pictures of Soufriere i have found on the net are gorgeous, and i cant wait to visit there some day too. i plan to travel the world when i am 19, so i will defiantley visit the great St.Lucia!!
I have a friend who moved back to St.Lucia a few years ago. i go up there every 6 months to visit her and i can never get enough of the scenery! I especially love Ti Kaye, it has beautiful beaches and rainforests, and lots of attractions for tourists like me! my friend says she misses england sometimes, but certainley not the weather, or the hustle and bustle of london! St.Lucia is a loveley place but i agree with Akil and it should have been kept an export island- but it will be as gorgeous, whatever its named. please send a comment to this address if you have heard of the family name duBoulay!
I left St Lucia at age 11 and return to the Island on 14 July 2004, for the first time. The Island was much more that I expected. I had some wonderful memories of the people and the place. The picture on this website bring these memories to the forefront of my mind. Thank you.
