You mean that you went to New York and there is not one picture with you or the friends in it? What's up with that?
anonymous · August 11, 2001 - 18:37 EST #2
Can we save these images in an "800x600" format?
Lee Bennett (ATPM Staff) · August 11, 2001 - 18:47 EST #3
Nearly all the utilities to set a desktop picture (including what's built in to Mac OS) will automatically scale the picture to fit your screen. The "Position Automatically" setting will take care of it. Otherwise, if you really need the actual file to be smaller, simply open an image in any graphic editor, reduce to 800x600 and save a new file.

Thank you for your photo. As an architect, this is the end of one of the masterpieces.

I went to my search engine to get pics of the WTC after the terrorists attack. These are priceless as a remembrance of what once stood.

I live in Australia and will never forget my visit to New York in April 1999. I was lucky enough to stand on top of the Town Hall and gaze in awe at The World Trade Centre. Our thoughts from down under go out to all Americans at this, the most difficult of times. God Bless America

Viewing these pictures it's hard to comprehend what amount of death and destructions has occured. Words cannot convey my thoughts but all our hearts and minds will always be with the families of all those who have suffered.
Darren Lawson · September 14, 2001 - 10:32 EST #11
Brilliant pictures, such a terrible waste of innocent lives and one of the world's most awesome buildings.

I live in Italy, I can't still belive what appened on Sep.11. My tender thought goes to the New Yorkers and the Americans. God Bless America.
Anna · September 15, 2001 - 16:56 EST #14
Your pictures have ended my exhausting search for some classy NY pictures, which i have been searching for for years. All the more poignant that i found them four days after the devastation wreaked on a beautiful city with a skyline that remains breathtaking inspite of the loss of the WTC. To all Americans god bless, your astounding bravery and strength in such bleak times is credit to you all.
John · September 16, 2001 - 15:03 EST #15
After last Tuesdays tragic events i thought i would have a look on the net to find some photographs of these magnificent buildings .I came here and got exactly what i wanted. please keep this site going for all the people that perished in this savage act of terror inflicted on America. GodBless all these people and there families. You are in my thoughts during these hard and bleak times.

I just wanted to say, I live in New York City, and these pictures are just magnificent. I wanted to thank you for giving us a little something, in honor of what was ripped from our hearts. I thank you.
Frank · September 22, 2001 - 14:50 EST #17
These pictures are great. It's a little hard to look at them now, but I know one day we'll have a new set of pictures. They will display the honor, the hope, and the glory of the United States. God Bless America, it's citizens, and other citizens of the world who lost loved ones. Semper Fi

Coming from Biloxi Mississippi....But native to South Fla. I lived in Commack/Kings Park NY from 92-95 as I was putting a collage of old photos together to try to celebrate my Moms 60th Bday, I came across a photo of the Towers a week after the tragic event. I still have a hard time trying to understand all that has happened. Having lived in Ny and family and many friends that are still there I know in my heart that NYorkers are strong individuals. Just so you know we on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi are all praying for everyone that we Unite as one.We will prevail!!!!!!!!
Ivar · October 14, 2001 - 17:10 EST #19
Thank you for the greatest, finest pictures of Manhattan I've ever seen...let them be a hymn to the innocent people who died as victims of evil. When I stood in Battery Park and admired those architectural wonders I didn't believe that I'm here, now I can't believe that something like this has happened to my favorite city...god bless.

This is a great site! I was in New York a month before the incident of 9/11 and I had forgotten to take my camera with me, I thought I would come back in a few months and have taken pictures of the W.T.C. but as I was in Massachussets when the incident occured I felt as my heart dropped with those towers, my thoughts and prayers go out to anyone who lost a loved one on that omnious day ....

I am a Portuguese girl but I really love America, specially New York. Two years ago I cried a lot for those who inocently died in that towers (WTC), and my wish was to know new york and the towers. I believe that all of you will win, i have faith in that, terrorism will end. Congratulationa with all these pictures, I had never realised that New York was so pretty. After my country, Portugal, I really love a lot New York to live. Greetings to all and sorry about my english, if it is bad.

I saw a comment at the first o the page that said that "yorkers" r strong and you are correct.....We stand stronger and hold our heads up high and help each other get things back to a working order. I would also like to thank the families of the Fire and Police Officers that gave their lives while helping others that sad day...GOD Bless and you are in my prayers
