That's cool. we are learning about these in school. Can you tell me what the name of something is? what is the name of the building to which an aqueduct's water leads to? or does it not have a name?
And while you're at the plaza by the aqueduct, don't forget to have your lunch/dinner at the restaurant (brown building in foreground). Their specialty is 'cochinilla' or roast suckling pig. Enjoy you trip. (Went there on a day trip from Madrid.)
The building to which an aquaduct delivers water is called an aqua castellum. A water caslte in other words.

september 13, 2009 past 1am in the morning, I visited this place with a special friend named_FERNANDO. He introduced me this lovely place, and i really like the architechture of this site.I will never forget this place. I LOVE IT!
i'm from Romania and my father has working in Madrid, Spain.this summer i was in Segovia....i haven't too much time to enjoy the trip because it was too short ...my oncle hurryed up and we stayed there about 3 houres....but in the future if i 'll have the oportunitie to return there i'll stay more time... Segovia is a very beautiful site..."vale la pena" to visit it!:)
